White Cross Bay Leisure Park has been awarded a four star award by Visit England along with the David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation, so guests can be assured not only of a high standard of accommodation but also of a location doing its up most to protect the local environment. Set mid way between Ambleside and Windermere, the park is situated in the very heart of the Lake District, within 60 acres of wooded parklands, which runs right down to the shores of Lake Windermere. White Cross Bay has an indoor heated swimming pool, with sauna, solarium and gym, all payable on site, as well as a modern clubhouse bar and restaurant with regular daytime and evening entertainment. Launching is also available should you have your own boat, with prior arrangement.

Lang Howe is in a quiet wooded area on the site, a short stroll from the leisure club and Lake Shore. Comfortably furnished, the lodge is of a traditional design with panelled walls throughout and has a pleasant outlook from the decked area.

Prospect Lodge resides on the spectacularly situated Limefitt Park in one of the Lake District's most beautiful valleys. The valley sides climb steeply to the surrounding peaks, such as High Street and Froswick providing breathtaking scenery.

The lodge is situated in a tranquil location with direct access on to the Lakeland Fells with an abundance of walks and wildlife and although it is only 3 miles from Windermere it retains the feeling of remoteness. On site facilities are open from April - October and include a small supermarket, The Haybarn Inn, (a traditional Lakeland pub serving meals, including breakfast, a selection of fine ales and a beer garden) a games room, adventure playground and launderette.

Nearby leisure activities include pony trekking, cycle hire, golf, fishing and a host of water sports. A truly wonderful location from which to enjoy a fabulous activity packed holiday.
