These two outstanding properties are in a beautiful secluded loch-side setting. The grounds, which include a private stretch of shoreline, extend to 3/4 of an acre although it is hard to tell where the grounds end and the forest begins. There are wonderful panoramic views across Loch Awe to several islands on one of which stands Innis Chonnell Castle. The area is an ideal walking centre. Loch Awe, Loch Avich and nearby rivers provide good fishing. Boat hire is available locally or there are private launching facilities if guests wish to bring their own boat. Within 9 miles there are pub/restaurants and a choice of highly acclaimed hotels. Local shop and Post Office in Dalavich (1 mile). Good shopping, restaurants and recreational facilities in Oban and Lochgilphead. With Oban offering ferry connections to many of Scotlands West Coast Islands.A cosy timber lodge finished to a high standard.
