Local Area

There is plenty to see in the area. Pride of place goes to the unique landscape in this part of the Eifel. But don't forget the fascinating towns of Trier and Bitburg. The beautiful hilly nature parks on Luxembourg's eastern borders and the Belgian Ardennes are not far away. You can be at the Nürburgring Formula 1 race course in just over half an hour.

The chalets have more space and comfort than 'classic' static caravans and there is usually more storage space.
The interior is typically as follows: Living room with entrance and a dining/sitting area (which can usually be adapted into an additional double bed), Bedroom 1 with double bed. Bedroom 2 with two single beds or bunk beds.
Bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet (sometimes a separate toilet). Fitted kitchen with a 2 to 4 ring gas hob and fridge. Plenty of storage space for personal possessions. In most cases your chalet will have a covered wooden terrace with garden furniture for relaxing outdoors.
Some camp sites offer bungalows. These differ very little from chalets regarding the interior. It is possible that one or more of the bedrooms will be upstairs, and you should also be aware that not all bungalows are detached.
