The four star San Francesco camp site is situated in a beautiful pine forest right by the sea in the Bay of Venice. Caorle is about halfway between the cities of Venice and Trieste on the Adriatic. The camp site's private beach is a lovely place for sunbathing.
The camp site has a leisure pool with no fewer than four different pools (free for camp site guests) and an aquaparadise (not included in the price). You will also find countless sports facilities including a diving school and a new fitness centre.

There is a miniclub for the children and an enormous playground with bouncy castles, a sea of balls and much more. The entertainment team supplies the entire camping grounds with amusement, even on the beach! There are performances in the evenings, with cabaret, parties, entertainment, dances and discos. You can eat and drink well in the three restaurants, one of which is by the sea.

There is golf and horse riding close to San Francesco.
You can enjoy the beautiful countryside in the vicinity around the lagoon of Venice and the beautiful headland of Grado. You can take a boat directly to the centre of Venice; much easier and more enjoyable than going by car.

It's not always easy to tell the difference between a static caravan and a chalet. The absence of wheels and the comfortable interior - with a lot of use made of wood or wood-effect materials - make some static caravans seem just like a chalet.
In general chalets have more space and comfort than 'classic' static caravans and there is usually more storage space.

The interior is typically as follows: Living room with entrance and a dining/sitting area (which can usually be adapted into an additional double bed), Bedroom 1 with double bed. Bedroom 2 with two single beds or bunk beds.
Bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet (sometimes a separate toilet). Fitted kitchen with a 2 to 4 ring gas hob and fridge. Plenty of storage space for personal possessions. In most cases your chalet will have a covered wooden terrace with garden furniture for relaxing outdoors.
Some camp sites offer bungalows. These differ very little from chalets regarding the interior. It is possible that one or more of the bedrooms will be upstairs, and you should also be aware that not all bungalows are detached.
