I have no hesitation in recommending this park, it was clean, friendly and in a good location. My kids loved the weekend we spent there and are asking when we are going back. Only five minutes walk to the town centre where there are plenty of pubs, cafes and restaurants.

Altamount park is agreat location for exploring the Perthshire and Angus area. There were stables nearby and the children enjoyed horse riding. Tom and Sheila were very helpful and the park was wonderfully quiet and peaceful.

The park was quiet and friendly. Excellent base for touring. Accommodation very comfortable. The visits from the peacocks and their chicks, along with the red squirrels added to the atmosphere. Amenities and shops within easy walking distance.

It was very good value for money - after an internet search, it was the cheapest weekend break we could find, and so nice to be self catering rather than the expense of a travel lodge or B&B.

We had great time. The shops very handy, (within walking distance), busses pass the lodges every half hour going to Perth and Dundee, and Sheila and her husband were very friendly and very helpful. I would come again in the future.

The park is close to the town centre, and handy for buses that run by the lodges that will take you to Perth, Dundee and other areas around if you do not drive.
